David C. Wrobel
David C. Wrobel received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University in 1980 and his law degree from Boston University School of Law, where he was a Paul J. Liacos Scholar, in 1983. David was an associate and partner at Boyle Vogeler & Haimes from 1983-1993 and a partner at Sutherland, Asbill & Brennan, LLP from 1993-1996.
From 1996 to the formation of Wrobel Markham & Schatz, LLP, he was engaged in a diverse corporate litigation practice. The firm was renamed Wrobel & Schatz LLP effective March 1, 2002.Mr. Wrobel is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York (Committees on: Insurance Law, Secretary, 1988-1990, Member, 1990-1993; New York Courts of Superior Jurisdiction, Member, 1994-1996), the New York State Bar Assocation, and the American Bar Association, where he is a member of Litigation and Torts and Insurance Practice sections.
Mr. Wrobel is actively involved in a wide-variety of commercial litigations, including construction and insurance disputes, corporate control disputes, real estate disputes, and others. He is married to the former Marcie Penn (herself an attorney, Columbia University J.D. 1983) and has three boys.
